Trump’s trying to deal with Hamas as he did with the Taliban in Afghanistan

Trump released 5,000+ Islamist fighters from Kabul prisons and had the Taliban second in command freed from Pakistan. That didn’t work out well for Afghans – especially dooming its women and girls

That Trump ‘credited his threat’ of ‘hell to pay’ with moving Hamas is nonsense. Trump’s little boy threat was no more relevant to Hamas terrorists then Netanyahu’s absurd threat of ‘total destruction.

There is NO excuse for Trump to be trying to do private deals with Hamas. Trump got away with doing so with the Taliban in Doha late in his first catastrophic term as ‘president.’ Towards that end, Trump unilaterally released 5,000+ Islamist fighters from Kabul prisons and had the Taliban second in command freed from Pakistan.

Trump, and his evangelical Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, then unconditionally handed Afghanistan back to the Taliban. In doing so, he also set up a no win condition for Biden. Though Biden made errors, what he did – especially under the insanely self indulgent ‘deal’ created by Trump – was remarkable.

We now know that Trump’s sell out of Afghanistan and US allies in Afghanistan has not worked out very well for that sad, struggling nation to especially include dooming its women and girls.

If Trump now thinks he can similarly dictate to Israel how many prisoners to release or how to specifically ‘deal’ with Hamas, it only means the squirrels running around in his head are having a field day

Trump is not a businessman or ‘deal maker’ but only played a caricature of one on TV. Everything he’s touched, from casinos and Trump U to Trump water, has died. He’s now trying to take America underwater with him

Israel must realize that Trump is a lifelong antisemite. He is not a ‘Friend of Israel’ but a friend of Christian Zionists, America’s Project 2025, his techbro sponsors and to whatever his short circuiting brain tells him on any given day.
