Two crazy years
It’s been a difficult two years. But Israel has amazingly succeeded in many areas, though there is still more to be done.
Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran have been smashed. But Hamas and Hezbollah have not yet disarmed.
The living hostages have returned, but not all the bodies. A number of countries have dispatched experts to try to retrieve bodies, and Israel has provided information on where they might be.
Israel has bounced back, a nation like no other. The Jewish nation stood strong, unafraid, exemplifying moral clarity as it fought evil.
Nations are seeing, firsthand, the great miraculous intervention of the Almighty.
Psalm 126 seems to describe current feelings.
“A song of Ascents, when G-d brought back the returnees of Zion, we were like dreamers. Our mouths will then be filled with laughter, and our tongues will sing.
“Then the nations will say, G-d has done great things for them (the Jewish people).” (And we will reply), “G-d has done great things for us, we were joyful.” (Psalm 126)
It’s an amazing world. And very soon, Redemption with Moshiach will bring peace and harmony to the entire world. The dead will rise. There will be tremendous happiness.
And then we will truly thank G-d.
