Useful Idiots

After the miraculous Six Day War, inhabitants of conquered territories were about to flee.

To appease the world, Israel’s government convinced them to stay.

To appease the world, in the Madrid Conference, Israel agreed to allow self-autonomy.

To appease the world, in the Oslo Accords, Israel agreed to give away territory.

To appease the world, Israel left Gaza.

To appease the world, some Israeli governments, including some coalition members of the previous government, talked about giving away land to create a state.

What has been the result of all these efforts to appease the world? Terrorism.

It’s time to stop trying to appease the world. They are not being appeased. They are still blaming Israel.

It’s time to have Jewish pride.

To be grateful for G-d’s gift to the Jewish people — the land of Israel.

To protect Jewish lives.

To stand up to the world.

It’s time to stop being useful idiots.

Time to be nobody’s fool.

Time to be true to our essential selves — our G-dly souls within us.

Time to live up to our role as a Jewish nation.

So that “all the nations will see that the Name of G-d is upon you, and they will fear you.” (Deuteronomy 28; 10)

So that all the nations will say about the Jewish people, “for this is a wise, intelligent and great nation.” (Deuteronomy 4; 6)

It’s time.
