Victory for Stop The Hate

Sunday night in London saw a victory for the Stop The Hate (STH) campaign. With the St John’s Wood Synagogue due to host an event to promote emigration to Israel (aliyah), STH learned of a protest that was to be mounted by Palestinian supporters.

Following an effective mobilisation plan across various social media platforms, several hundred STH supporters arrived at St John’s Wood tube station to counter-protest in support of Israel.

As it turned out, the evening’s haters amounted to a crowd of less than 50 antizionist Jews – although ‘useful idiots’ is possibly a more accurate description for such individuals – who having tried to make themselves heard outside the synagogue, were swiftly moved along by the Metropolitan Police to a street corner hundreds of yards from the aliyah event.

The evening passed off peacefully with the protesters amounting to little more than an irrelevant nuisance on the streets of the capital. Congratulations to STH, to the Community Security Trust and also the police on an evening that brought shame and humiliation on the haters.
