We didn’t know at all. We didn’t see a thing

Once upon a time… some 50 years ago… a young girl looking for answers, happened upon Folk Music. In those ancient times… the song lyrics often spoke of moral issues…of right and wrong. The brain is a wonderful thing. This morning, a melody and lyrics I had definitely not heard in 50 years… were spinning around in my brain. Perhaps known to you, but more likely not… the music of the Chad Mitchell trio in 1965 dealt with issues such as the Holocaust and the Ku Klux Klan and lo and behold…government deception.  Their lyrics inspired my generation to ask questions and look for justice.  We still want justice, don’t we?

The current scandal around the United States Agency for International Development, known as USAID, and the revelation that billions and billions of taxpayer dollars were secretly funneled to anti-American interests… is shaking America’s government to its core.  And well it should. This scandal is beyond Watergate, The Biden Laptop, and even the visitors to the Jeffrey Epstein sex Island.  This is a web of deceit which likely began years ago, but which was clearly embellished under recent U.S. Administrations.  USAID directed billions and billions of dollars to organizations professing to help one cause or another, and secretly funding terror groups in different countries.

Of greatest concern, at this moment in time, is the 2.1 Billion dollars which was siphoned from American funds and handed to Hamas through intermediaries… not over ten or twenty years…but since the horrendous, murderous attacks by Hamas and their Gazan friends on October 7, 2023. That is over a period of about 500 days!!!!    That is the money which shored up Hamas… which paid for their war against Israel…which made it possible for Hamas to continue fighting when their funding should have run out…which was directly responsible for unnecessary deaths of both Israeli soldiers and Gazans used as human shields by Hamas,  who were additional collateral damage in this ongoing war.

Congressional hearings are uncovering the details. They have reported the 2.1 billion dollar scam. Trusted employees of USAID, headed by Samantha Power,  President Obama’s pick as American Ambassador to the Israel-bashing United Nations… had carte blanche to direct funds to organizations professing one purpose, but secretly funding Hamas… on the top of the United States list of declared terror organizations. This is the same Samantha Power whose career was skyrocketed by her concern about the U.S. lack of commitment to fighting genocide?  This is the same woman who received a landslide approval for her nomination by both sides of the political aisle?  This is the same woman who President Joe Biden appointed to head USAID…. And under whose directorship…  billons of dollars were siphoned off to fund a hate-filled organization which had as its only purpose… the murder of every Jew in the State of Israel? Eight million Jews…  that would most certainly qualify as genocide.  When did Ms. Power decide that she had the right to make decisions counter to the intentions of the elected officials of the United States Congress?  Was she invited to this deception by the President which anointed her, or has this been long brewing from the days when she was an advisor to President Obama and became the apple of his eye?

Americans should be shocked.  I am both an American and an Israeli.  I am stunned by the abuse of power…by Ms. Power. USAID has over ten thousand employees world-wide.  It doled out twenty billion dollars in 2023, and NO ONE “has been watching the store!”

The illegal distribution of funds to illegitimate organizations requires a cleansing of the USAID organization. That does not mean simply firing people… it should mean taking them to court and finding them guilty of abusing their authority… prison sentences and a ruining of their careers at the very least.  Marco Rubio has taken over USAID and will purge its evil players and corruption. Congress should be shaking in its boots. Their power was usurped. Their laws found null and void. If Americans truly want to live in a democracy…they need to begin screaming not only about the teaching of inappropriate sexual issues to young children, and the recycling of waste products.  They need to demand accountability from a nation which is quite happy to study every dollar they deposit into their personal banking…  a government supposedly looking for black money  because they want to “fight terrorism,”  when in fact the same government has been funding it … all the while.   A government which criminalizes its citizens for mishandling their finances because the government is entitled to its tax money… which it then throws at the evil enemies of all things democratic and life affiriming…  cannot survive.

There are political analysts who ascertain that the American people have been duped on many levels.  By being coaxed into a “woke-state-of-mind” the average American became obsessed with issues they deemed critical, when in fact they were being distracted from looking at what was happening under their very noses.  Elected officials have been very busy worrying about local endangered species, Carbon Dioxide emissions from dangerous farms raising their cattle for beef, employer’s D.E.I. practices.  and using the correct pronoun when addressing a constituent who demanded respect for their critical sexual identity. All the while,  their primary responsibility was watching over the tax revenues they took from each and every citizen, to improve and sustain the quality of their very lives.

The moral angst of the folk music and Hippie era was genuine. People were genuine. The opportunities now for large scale deception have exploded.  White collar crime looks almost inconsequential in comparison to government agency crimes in the USA.

It is time to take off the blinders.  All is not rosy in Camelot. It is time to demand that government agencies be held accountable for their actions… and that those who have abused your trust, will be brought to justice.
