We Should Be Destroyed? Why?

Moshe Fiszman was born in Poland in 1921. He survived the death camps of Birkenau and Dachau and eventually immigrated to Australia. Moshe faced separation from his family without the opportunity to say goodbye – he was never to see them again. This was one of many heart-rending experiences that causes him to ask, “We should be destroyed? Why?”

This is the fourth in our series, raising awareness of United Nations International Holocaust Remembrance Day, 27 January.

Moshe Fiszman was photographed by Shadows of Shoah at the Jewish Holocaust Centre, Melbourne, Australia.
