What Chances do we Take for a New Beginning

What Chances do we Take for a New Beginning

Torah Portion Shelach  (Numbers 13:1 – 15:41)

What chances do we take for a new beginning?

Do doubts and fears paralyze our mission?

Or do we move our life’s sacred purpose further

Towards the destination set for us.

Does belief based on faith propel us forward

To set aside who we are, to whom we become

And be?  The answers are for us to choose

Subsequent to gifts bestowed upon us.

Paralysis delays our arrival

For years of a life-time to a generation;

Yet, our scheduled arrival is destined

Upon departure to our promised home.

Our future awaits our united front

To bring us to our blessed journey’s end.
