What the Bible teaches about Sheikh Jarrah?
Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but Sheikh Jarrah people have no place to lay their heads.
“Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
If you think that G-d is angry and tough the words of Isaiah won’t be enough.
“When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. 34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your G-d”
“He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the Lord’s loving-kindness.”
But injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
Who’s to blame, with whom to share?
When the opponent is the judge and, the juries are not fair.
At his hearing, the complaint wasn’t there.
The complaint wasn’t summoned, someone tells the truth, who dares?!
But, how the world could watch and stare?
At my suppression, oppression, and my despair!
Some are concerned but they don’t seem like they really care.
Is it just a statement that they declare?
For I’ve read the news but, I felt no action was in the air.
Do you call this a law court or a low court?
Whenever they see peace coming out to life they choose this piece to abort!
The court of appeal couldn’t reveal the truth when it’s crystal clear
I could see it in the blood that was mixed with fragments of glass
I could sniff it in the air that was mixed with tear gas.
And come on now, which law.
This is not acceptable even in the common law.
This is basic, this is raw.
They own the land but the new tenants were here before
They left without saying goodbye.
The criminals can be innocents if they could have a fake alibi.
Sheikh Jarrah is not the case, I tell you why:
Cause in your heart there is a whole military base, that is alerted on standby;
You have to wave all the hatred that you save.
You have a grudge that is old and aged, and you’re asking me not to be outraged.
The Jewish Saul who became Paul said once and for all:
If, however, I am guilty of doing anything deserving death,
To avoid punishment I show no desire and I have no strength.
But if the charges brought against me by these Jews are not true,
I appeal to God whom I only pursue.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.”
“Abraham “looked for a city which hath foundations
God is the architect and the builder of it”
