What the world is telling us

It’s a crazy amazing world, with events happening so quickly, and everything seems to be spinning in so many different directions all at once.

But there is a common theme. A unifying aspect to it all. And it’s all moving forward, collectively, interacting in a wondrous symphony, a world that is becoming a utopia.

Sound far-fetched? Well, consider:

Trump is meeting with Putin, who probably got scared when Trump threatened India with huge sanctions if India continued to buy Russian oil. What will happen, no one knows yet. But there is forward movement.

Numerous European leaders, afraid of losing the Muslim vote, are ratcheting up rhetoric against Israel. At the same time, Europe is dealing with Trump’s tariffs. These European leaders appear weak because Israel is basically ignoring them, and because Trump is not inviting them to sit at the table with him and Putin.

Israel, as mentioned, is standing up to foreign pressure as it continues its war against Hamas. Israel is preparing to go into Gaza City (and eventually all of Gaza), which is probably scaring Hamas, who are now interested in renewed hostage negotiations.

A key factor in all of this is Trump’s support for Israel, and Israel’s determination to defend itself.

Trump has changed. In his first term, he was pressuring Israel to sign an agreement which allowed Israel to annex some land, but which established a Palestinian state. The agreement was nixed when the UAE said, that they would join the Abraham Accords only if Israel did not annex land. This ended up cancelling the whole agreement, and the pressure against Israel to establish a Palestinian state disappeared.

But towards Trump’s second term, something changed. After he was miraculously saved from an assassin’s bullet, and after he visited the resting place of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, and he won reelection, he seemed to be a different person. He became tremendously supportive of Israel. And he is very focused on eliminating anti-religious ideology in America and elsewhere.

Everything happens by Divine providence. It seems clear that the Almighty is orchestrating events in a direction that benefits humanity.

Interestingly, the prophets seem to have predicted current events.

Here’s a sample from the book of Daniel, who besides miraculously surviving a den of hungry lions, also saw visions that described future events, especially events of the end of days — Messianic times.

Let’s start with the Muslim infusion into Europe, which is influencing European leaders to express the afore-mentioned anti-Israel sentiment. The Muslims have not assimilated into Western culture and are retaining their Muslim identity and belief system. As a result, much of Europe’s way of doing things, based on principles of the Enlightenment, etc, is being severely challenged. Interestingly, the U.S. just revised its summary regarding global human rights, and the new summary mentions that Europe is guilty of abuse because (based on free-speech) it is allowing hate to proliferate on social media.

So where is this alluded to in the book of Daniel? Take a look at chapter two, describing Nebuchadnezzar’s dream about a statue composed of different materials, which Daniel interprets as referring to different kingdoms that will rule. The feet are composed of iron and clay, mixed together but not merging into one. Daniel explains that this refers to two kingdoms that will mix together, even intermarrying, but they will not become one. Sounds like the present day Muslim immigration into Europe.

Then, in the dream, a stone will come off a mountain, hit the feet, shatter the statue, and fill the world.

Perhaps this is describing what’s happening now.

Israel is refusing to give in to foreign pressure. (Such pressure is fundamentally and morally wrong — because these European leaders are demanding that, although every country doesn’t hesitate to defend itself when attacked, Israel must turn the other cheek and be more merciful.)

Israel’s strong stance, and Trump’s pressure (by supporting Israel, and via tariffs, etc.) are rattling European leaders (who are corruptly catering to Muslim voters). The Enlightenment (like the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream) is being shattered. Liberty and fraternity for all — except the Jews. This shows that the Enlightenment is not sufficient, to keep people on the straight and narrow path of truth and justice.

The Enlightenment is imploding, as Israel’s light, and Trump’s support, by Divine providence are cracking apart the veneer of the Enlightenment’s ability to save humanity and bring the world justice, fairness and true moral values.

The statue is crumbling, and with it the realization that only a creed based on G-d’s laws, the seven Noahide laws (which G-d told Moses, at Mount Sinai, to tell all the nations), only that will save the world, and put it on a pedestal of peace.

The stone is coming off the mountain, crumbling the statue, and filling the world with G-d’s light.

There is more in other chapters in Daniel, which seem to describe current times. It strengthens optimism that the complete Redemption with Moshiach is close by.

May it happen very soon.
