Your advice is find a verse of Psalms.
Choose a verse that speaks to you.

Say the verse slowly,
with concentration
until you calm down.

You start to feel menucha (inner calm).

Your heart moves away from worries.
You relax.
You become like a child walking
into his parent’s home.

You feel protected.

You feel HaShem is with you.

You develop a feeling that the
“Creator of the world”
does everything for you.

This builds up your connection with HaShem.

This is the state of Bitachon!

Note:

Aryeh (Rabbi Lazar) uses this
technique of repeating a verse of psalms
during his personal prayers.

He finds this quiets him down.

Use this technique:

You calm down.
You relax.
You let go.

This helps you focus on your
relationship with your
loving and caring father,
HaKodesh Boruch Hu!
