When Holiness Permeates

America is now wrestling with the country’s future, as are numerous other countries.

The prophet Isaiah (2; 3) declares, that in the end of days “Torah will emerge from Zion, and the word of G-d from Jerusalem.”

Israel is a light to the nations. Jewish influence permeates the world.

Israel now has a government that insists on adhering to Torah values. This affects the world.

Indeed we are now seeing, in the U.S. and other places, a strengthening of G-dly values. The U.S. Supreme Court, schools, businesses and politicians are moving in this direction.

The prophet Ovadiah (1; 21) describes a time when “Saviours will rise up on the mountain of Zion, to judge the mountain of Esau, and the kingdom will be G-d’s.” (Esau was the forebearer of ancient Rome, from which the Western world emerged.)

How can rising on a mountain in Israel, lead to judging a mountain of Esau?

Maybe it means, that when Torah values are proclaimed and adhered to in Zion, it affects what happens on the mountain (the important places) of Esau.

When Israel’s government follows the Torah, it serves as a role model to the rest of the world. And then the entire world recognizes G-d’s Dominion.

And as Isaiah predicts (2; 2) “And it will be in the end of days, the mountain of the House of G-d will be established at the head of the mountains, above the hills, and all the nations will come there.”

May we soon see the final eternal Temple, which will bring light and peace to the whole world. When (Isaiah 11; 9) “The world will be filled with the knowledge of G-d, just as the waters cover the sea.”
