By the Grace of G-d
Who are we?
We are children.
We are spouses.
We are students.
We are citizens.
We wear many different hats.
We experience different relationships.
Who are we?
When G-d gave the Torah to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai, He was a Father, Teacher, King, and Spouse.
There is a prayer on Yom Kippur: For we are Your nation and You are our G-d, we are Your children and You are our Father, we are Your servants and You are our Master, we are Your congregation and You are our portion etc.
We are many things to G-d, and He is to us.
Who are we?
We are in a unique, awesome, loving and all-encompassing relationship with our Creator.
And one day soon, it will become clear as day, to us, and to the world.
May it happen very soon.
