Who Helped Build Your Mishkan?

I have been thinking a lot about the people who quietly showed up for me over the years. A conversation at the right time. Someone who believed in me when I did not believe in myself. Someone who stayed patient while I was still figuring things out. Most of those moments felt small when they happened, yet looking back, they changed my life in ways I did not fully grasp at the time.

This week’s parsha describes the materials brought to build the Mishkan. Gold, silver, copper, fabrics, wood. Behind every contribution was a person who chose to give from the heart. The Mishkan was built piece by piece through ordinary people offering what they could.

When I read that list of materials, I think about the people who chose to show up and invest in me, helping build parts of my life without ever asking for acknowledgment.

If someone came to mind while reading this, maybe this is the week to reach out and tell them. A simple message. A short call. A few honest words of gratitude. Sometimes the smallest expressions of appreciation carry more weight than we expect.
