Why AOC’s use of the term ‘concentration camps’ is insidious

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has once again proven to the world that in order to be successful with the left in this day and age of identity politics, a Spanish family name and an open dislike for Trump will get you further than actual brains.

In her latest asinine Instagram video, the ex-bartending commie baby doll chumps the scenery, overcrowded with less than savory figures, to come at the forefront of the “annoyingly stupid.”

She doesn’t try, mind you, with her it comes as naturally as breathing.

But I’m not making that blog to demonstrate to the public AOC’s vast knowledge of how an economic system works, nor to dissert on her dazzling insights into international geopolitics………….

No, I want to talk about the latest moronic thing she said: that the camps made to put in the illegal migrants overflowing the US southern border were concentration camps.
She was, rightfully so, called out for it and doubled down on the term in several tweets, meaning that she, at this point, knows full well the implication of the expression, yet chooses to stick to it.

To be fair, let’s look at the Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of the term.

a place where large numbers of people (such as prisoners of war, political prisoners, refugees, or the members of an ethnic or religious minority) are detained or confined under armed guard

Given that she and other leftists see any migrant, even those coming for obvious economical reasons, as refugees, their interpretation is not completely out of place.

She could claim that she calls the camps “concentration” with the strict definition in mind, removed from its World War II connotation.

SHE COULD make that claim, but she would be LYING.

In the same Instagram video, she says: “{…} never again means something.”

Yes, it means something, it’s what we Jews say referring to the horrors of the Shoah and the promise that we will never again let that happen.

With the intense backlash of these last few days, there is no way she can claim the term is not associated with the memory of the Nazi camps in her use of it, yet she doesn’t back down.

Jews in Germany and other Reich occupied territories were not overflowing the border to come live into the “Land of Opportunities”, in fact they were trying to flee it by any means possible and were actively hunted down.

Rapes, wanton murder, torture, human experiments, regular beatings, starvation, mass executions was their daily bread.

A far cry from the situation of the South American migrants in those US administered camps.

There is no equivalency possible, moral, factual or otherwise.

If AOC wants to talk about real life concentration camps, my suggestion to her is to read the account of Lim Hye-Jin, a former guard in one of those camps in North Korea.

She defected and fled the country and recalls the truly horrific conditions there with inmates starved, beaten, murdered (sometimes buried alive) and entire families used in disgusting experiments like watching the reaction of a person to nerve and poison gas.

That, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is what a true concentration camp really is.
Please look the American people and Jews around the world (and North Koreans while you’re at it) in the eyes and tell them, yes, this is exactly how the camps at the southern US border are.

AOC’s words are insidious.

By comparing the illegal migrant camps to Nazi concentration camps like Auschwitz or Dachau, she not only debased the memory of those who were in the purest form of hell there ever was on earth, but she kills them all over again.

They did not have beds for everyone, 3 square meals everyday and daily visits by physicians.

No, they were put like cattle in trains where many of them died in travel.

The survivors had to clean up the bodies before being mercilessly beaten.

As if this harrowing experience wasn’t traumatizing enough, they were then immediately sent without any strength left to do hard work.

Any hesitation and they would be shot on sight.

Do you really believe this is the situation Miss Cortez?

How do you explain that people take the plane from Africa to Brazil and then come on foot all the way to the US border?

Do you really believe thousands of people come from South and Central America and Africa every day just to be raped, starved and brutally murdered?

I ask this to anyone who agrees with AOC’s moronic statement.

This is why I call her words insidious.
It is an effort to make America look like Nazi Germany in order to sway the opinion in favor of open borders.

It is low, unbecoming, false and profoundly cynical toward us Jews and unabashedly un-American.
