Why do you feel so mentally exhausted?
Many people today rarely experience inner quiet.
Even during moments of rest,
your mind races and becomes
dominated by:
worries,
pressure,
distractions and
overthinking things.
The modern world teaches you:
move faster,
do more,
achieve more,
consume more.
But rarely are you taught
to slow down internally.
A restless mind
creates a restless life.
True calmness
does not come
from escaping the world.
True calmness comes as you acquire
greater inner peace.
“Better one who is slow to anger
than one who is mighty.”
(Mishlei 16:32)
Real strength is remaining calm.
It is staying quiet inside
even while your life feels difficult.
When you are constantly rushing,
you stop seeing
all the good HaShem is giving you.
You stop seeing your simple blessings that
make life so enjoyable including:
The people who care about you,
the opportunities HaShem gives you,
the goodness already present in your life.
Sometimes the noise of life can pull you away
from your true self.
Teshuvah is an important Torah principle.
Teshuvah means return:
return to clarity,
return to your soul,
return to HaShem.
Everyone, even the biggest Tzaddik (Saint) must constantly do Teshuvah.
Teshuvah leads you to inner calmness,
helping you hear what your soul is trying to tell you.
