Winner – Meet The Chef Who Helps New Brides In The Kitchen For A New Year

Wow!!!!

When I posted that Cindy’s Corners was creating a unique Rosh Hashanah giveaway, I never imagined what a great response it would receive. Pereg Natural Food Company, Royal Wine Corporation, and other companies, businesses and organizations immediately contacted me about how they wanted to participate. In the next month, several articles will share fashion tips for the entire family, entertainment ideas for vacation week, and decor tips for your home, table and sukkahs.

I was touched when I was asked to help a restaurant complete a mitzvah of Tomchei Shabbos for the High Holidays by sharing stories of feeding those less fortunate and making sure their Rosh Hashanah tables are filled with traditional goodies and new foods on the seder plates.

The winners of the contest each share something in common, they share stories behind the food, tips for a busy daily routine. They also connect traditions handed down from generations with their own original twists.

Meet Winner Rena Vesely

Rena Vesely is a dresser and bridal attendant, a wedding coordinator. Her motto is, “Let me take care of you and your family on your special day.” The motto she shares with her brides as a key to a happy marriage is, “A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.”

Here is her entire entry:

My name is Rena Vesely. Being a dresser-bridal attendant and day of wedding coordinator makes my schedule unpredictable. Dinner needs to be cooked and many of my brides ask me for solutions to their own hectic daily schedules. I tell them to take advantage of using their slow cooker- crockpot.
Taking care of brides on their wedding day as well as keeping their timeline and providing a stress free wedding, is something I tell them to incorporate into their daily lives.

Some newlywed brides work long hours and some are still in school. At the end of a long day, coming home to a cooked meal makes for a calm person. The same way keeping a calm environment at a wedding is important as well. Here are two easy slow cooker- crockpot recipes using Pereg spices. It enhances these recipes and makes them yummy.
