Winning the Battle for G-d

It’s happening all over. Wherever you look, the battle is being won.

In America, the Supreme Court has been issuing numerous rulings which support religious viewpoints. Mothers are successfully rallying to have a say in their children’s education, and to ensure that religious belief is respected. Many politicians are proposing and enacting laws to protect religious freedom.

Israel’s government is promoting religious morals and Jewish identity, and is enacting laws that would prevent courts from stopping this.

China, a country that trampled on religious rights, is losing prestige and power, as numerous countries have forged alliances to push back against China’s bullying, militarily and economically.

France, at the forefront of democracies which are based on secular Enlightenment, is being rocked by major protests and challenges.

Canada’s government, which has legalised euthanasia, and plans to allow it for the mentally ill, has become embroiled in scandals, and is struggling with (post-Covid) economic hardships.

A few years ago, it seemed like religious values were losing. But suddenly we are seeing the pendulum swinging the other way, as there is now a strong momentum toward winning the battle for G-d.

The foe “repeatedly pushed me to fall, but G-d helped me.” (Psalm 118; 13)

Perhaps this is a prelude to the imminent Redemption with Moshiach, when (Isaiah 11; 9) “the entire world will be filled with knowledge of G-d.”
