The Congregação Israelita Paulista (CIP) will host on June 21 (Sunday), from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the 10th edition of Rikuday – Festival of Dance and Art, one of the community’s most anticipated cultural events. In 2026, the festival takes on added significance as part of CIP’s 90th anniversary celebrations, in a historic edition at the Simon Bolívar Auditorium, Memorial da América Latina.

Over the years, Rikuday has become a major gathering that celebrates culture through art. The event brings together more than 20 dance groups, with participants ranging from ages 4 to 80, who perform throughout the day, sharing the richness of Jewish folklore and strengthening bonds across generations.

More than a dance festival, Rikuday has established itself as a space for community life, artistic development, and cultural identity. This commemorative edition also marks a decade dedicated to valuing culture and fostering dialogue among diverse artistic expressions.

With free admission and open to the public, the program includes artistic performances, Harkadá (collective dance), workshops, cultural activities, a Community Fair, and food trucks—promoting exchange between Jewish and Brazilian culture. Attendance this year is expected to reach a record 1,500 people, a significant increase compared to past editions, which already drew over 900 participants.

The X Rikuday – Festival of Dance and Art is organized by CIP through its Dance Department, with support from the Ministry of Culture via the Rouanet Law for Cultural Incentives, and the São Paulo City Hall through Parliamentary Amendment No. 6025.2025/0024193-9. It also receives cultural support from the Memorial da América Latina, CultSP, and the State Secretariat for Culture, Economy, and Creative Industry, along with sponsorship from Itaú, Bemol, Rosset, Banco Safra, Trycostil, Smart Storage Self Storage, and Aurora.
