10 Ways UK Allies Can Support Jews Today

I wrote this before Thursday night’s war kicked off, in a bid to provide some practical tools to non-Jewish friends looking to do more than just show sympathy or pity. Anti-Semitism cannot be solved by the Jewish community, only non-Jews can solve it. I am still going to share it, especially for Jews in the diaspora, who despite the distance from Israel, still face real threats in the communities in which they live around the world. *10 Ways Non-Jewish Allies Can Support the Jewish Community Today*

1. *Reach Out Personally* – Check in with Jewish friends, colleagues, and neighbors. Let them know you care and are concerned about rising antisemitism. Invite them for coffee at a kosher cafe to foster connection.

2. *Write to Your Local MP* – Ask what steps they are taking to combat antisemitism and protect the Jewish community from physical attacks and media libels. Encourage stronger hate crime legislation and faster!
