9th International Congress on Biblical Archaeology Brings Experts to São Paulo
From August 27 to 29, São Paulo will host the 9th edition of the largest international congress on biblical archaeology in Latin America. Organized by the Moriah International Center, with support from the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, the event promises three days of deep immersion in the fascinating dialogue between faith and science, highlighting archaeological discoveries that both confirm and contextualize biblical narratives.
A Journey Through History
The congress will explore themes connected to Jerusalem, Rome, and Athens, retracing the path of faith through archaeology. Since 2017, more than 12,000 participants have taken part in this unique experience, which brings the public closer to excavations and research conducted at some of the most significant sites of the ancient world.
You feel as though you are walking through history. The professors are of a level unmatched anywhere else in Brazil, said Marcos Teixeira, participant of the 8th edition.
