A YEAR ON: The West must stand with Israel in their fight against Iran
The West must stand with Israel in their fight against Iranian terrorism. They must help the state of Israel to defend herself aginst the threat of eradication, and against Iran’s ever-looming threat towards the Western world.
Today marks one year since October 7th, the deadliest terror attack of Israel’s history, where innocent civilians were assassinated and taken hostage by Iran’s Hamas.
After seeing Iran’s Hezbollah send over missiles almost daily for the past year, and after seeing how Iran have directly attacked Israel twice in the past couple of months – it would be idiotic to not intervene with Iran’s nuclear capacity. The West must take the step forward and disallow Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
This is a war of the world, not just Israel. If Iran’s regime rises, Israel will fall and so will the West.
Many find it hard to understand war in the Middle East (similiar to the failure of Afghanistan). I was in Israel two weeks ago on a UK delegation, and we saw kindergartens which where attacked and homes that had been burnt.
In the Middle East, where war is unfortunately common-place, peace often comes through strength. It comes down to one rule: stop all terror, no matter what.
If the West has any courage and any foresight, it will work together to ensure Iran does not succeed in achieving a nuclear capacity – even if for their own sake and not for Israel’s.
I respect the UK’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer in many ways but when it comes to Israel, who’s fighting for her life, he’s withering and slightering and doing a balancing act.
This is the time for Israel to act. Hopefully, the Western world will stand with.
