All countries, and Israel, have “nation-state” laws

All countries have the unspoken “nation-state” laws, and those countries who violate them are in turmoil. The guilt of Israel is that it decided to make the unspoken “nation-state” law the “spoken.”

The USA is a nation-state of the Americans, and the Americans, as was defined by the Fathers of this nation-state, are those who live by the Bible-prescribed Judeo-Christian morality.

Among the Americans are many who are not Christians, like the Jews, Buddhists, Confucians, Hindus, Natives, Indians, but who willingly accept this nation-state Judeo-Christian governing morality, and democratically elect for the government only those who support this system of government. The turmoil the USA going through nowadays is caused by the influx to this nation-state the immigrants who have not accepted this nation-state Judeo-Christian governing morality and are trying to subvert it.
Russia is a nation-state of the Russians, and the Russians are defined by their history as the people of many ethnic subgroups, such as Tatars, Udmurt’s, Evenks, Ossetins, Chechens, etc., who willingly accept this nation-state authoritarian, Russian-Orthodox governing morality, and democratically elect for the government only those who support this system of government.

The turmoil Russia was going through in the 1990s was caused by the presence in this nation-state those who had not accepted the Russian nation-state governing morality and were trying to separate from Russia. This turmoil was “resolved” by military means, and it looks like, nowadays Russia is internally pacified.
Let’s take one more example of a nation-state – the nation-state of Sweden in Europe.

In the historic past, Swedish people had separated themselves from Finnish and Norwegian peoples and created the Swedish nation-state. Why? – Because they had found that their unique governing moral principles were different from that of Finnish and Norwegian peoples, and separation was needed to preserve the unique Swedish governing morality. Nowadays they are in turmoil since they are flooded with Middle-Eastern peoples with a completely different governing morality.

From the recent news media:

Multiple Swedish localities were subjected to what appears to be coordinated arson attacks, as youths set fire to at least 100 cars in and around the city of Gothenburg, the city of Trollhättan further north, Falkenberg and in the capital city of Stockholm. Prime Minister Stefan Lofven described the attacks as “very organized, almost like a military operation.” He said he was “really getting mad” and that “society must react in a tough manner.” …..

Sweden is now reported to be the second most violent country in Europe. Its homicide rates are “significantly above the Western European average,” Politico reported. “Social unrest, with car torchings, attacks on first responders and even riots, is a recurring phenomenon.”

Sweden has become a haven for migrants because of Sweden’s past open border policies. More than 600,000 immigrants have flooded into Sweden over the past five years, ZeroHedge has reported. Sweden is at the top of the list in Europe for admitting the most asylum seekers per capita, many of whom have come from the Middle East.

Now, it is written in the Israeli law – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel has long demanded that the Palestinians acknowledge his country’s existence as the “nation-state of the Jewish people.” Finally, his governing coalition stopped waiting around and pushed through a law that made it a fact.

From the recent news media:

In an incendiary move hailed as historic by Mr. Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition but denounced by centrists and leftists as racist and anti-democratic, Israel’s Parliament enacted a law that enshrines the right of national self-determination as “unique to the Jewish people” — not all citizens.

The legislation, a “basic law” — giving it the weight of a constitutional amendment — omits any mention of democracy or the principle of equality, in what critics called a betrayal of Israel’s 1948 Declaration of Independence , which ensured “complete equality of social and political rights” for “all its inhabitants” no matter their religion, race or sex.

Almost everything in this news-media piece is wrong, and here is why.
The citizens of any country are those individuals who willingly accept the established governing morality of a country where they reside or ask for permission to move in. For those who have not proven yet the willingness to do this, or are not willing to do this at all, there are different legal arrangements such as for example the green-card or long-term visa holders in the USA. The green-card or long-term visa holders in the USA have all rights of American citizens except one – to vote and influence the American governing morality in the un-American way.

In a sort of American way, Israel may have its own “green card” for the non-Jews, and I believe Israel have them already, who while living in Israel are not willing to accept the Torah-based governing morality of the Jewish nation-state. Concerning the omitted “any mention of democracy or the principle of equality,” NYT editors, it looks like, do not know that the Torah proclaims that all humans are created equal in the image and likeness of God. That means that the Torah-guided nation-state of Israel treats all its people – the citizens and the non-citizens – as equals, with its citizens having voting rights to democratically elect their government that defends and protects the Israeli governing morality, and with its non-citizens having the democratic right to become or not to become the Israeli citizens. For those non-Jews who have demonstrated the adherence to the Torah-based governing morality, legal procedures may be developed for a sort of spiritual conversion.
