Also Buttigieg hates Israel?

I know, Buttigieg tries to be “even-handed.” But it’s the same evenhandedness as Trump’s “There are good people on both sides.” Trump equated Nazis and anti-Nazi demonstrators. Buttigieg compares the democratically chosen leaders of Israel and the terrorists that should represent Muslim Palestinians but only enrich themselves and further follow one “ideal”: the continuation and eventual victory of anti-Semitism.

But as a gay man, he understands oppression. He will certainly be open to Israel’s story. He said sorry for using the term Pharisee derogatorily. So?

I thought that Obama could understand Jews. He’s Black — I was sure he would get it. Well, in eight long years, his hatred for the Jewish State grew so much that he even allowed for UNSR 2334 which was a totally hateful deceitful betrayal of Israel. History will credit him with standing up for every minority and oppressed group in the world but the Jews.

And Buttigieg is going the same way now, joining anti-Zionist Sanders? The latter once said to defend his Jew-hatred: If everyone trashes Israel, could it be all not true? Like the sexist who says: If everyone says that women are stupid, weak and should obey, could that then not be true? Sanders’ proof? What he reads in anti-Zionist lying Haaretz. No different from British chief anti-Semite Jeremy Corbyn.

It’s a double problem for anyone who likes people and Israel. If you like people, you can’t vote for Trump while Buttigieg is a great choice. But if you like Israel, you can’t vote Buttigieg while Trump is a great choice?

The only one who can change this is Mayor Pete. But before election day. If he didn’t get it before the polls, he won’t get it after them either.

If he really thinks that Israel is against Palestinian Muslims, he won’t get it ever. If he can’t understand that Israeli Jews are the best allies Palestinian Muslims could hope for, he deserves to lose and Trump to win.

Israel doesn’t need Obama III. And since Israel is to Jews what feminism is to women, you can’t respect Jews but not their State.

I hope he shapes up quickly. I’d hate to have to pray that Trump will win.

For all clarity:

Being anti-Zionistic is anti-Semitic.
Wanting to overrule the choices of the Israeli electorate is anti-Semitic.
Singling out Israel for national criticism for having a few racists in parliament is anti-Semitic.
Having a problem with a few racists in the Knesset but not with a few Jew-haters in it is anti-Semitic.
Threatening Israel if it doesn’t do what you want it to do is anti-Semitic.
Being irritated by Israel is anti-Semitic.
Having an opinion about Israel (from lies in Haaretz) instead of first asking Israelis what they think is anti-Semitic.
Knowing better than Israelis what is in Israel’s best interest is anti-Semitic.

I’ll explain one of them. Just imagine Israel beginning to threaten all countries with withholding security intel if they don’t rein in anti-Semitism. That would be scandalous? But it would be fine to threaten Israel with withholding financial obligations if it doesn’t treat the Palestinian State question the way anti-Zionists (Haaretz) want?

For a couple of years he wrote hasbara for the Dutch public. His fields of attention now are varied: Psychology (including Sexuality and Abuse), Medicine (including physical immortality), Science, Politics (Israel, the US and the Netherlands, Activism - more than leftwing or rightwing, he hopes to highlight Truth), Oppression and Liberation (intersectionally, for young people, the elderly, non-Whites, women, workers, Jews, GLBTQAI, foreigners and anyone else who's dehumanized or exploited), Integrity, Philosophy, Jews (Judaism, Zionism, Holocaust and Jewish Liberation), Ecology and Veganism. Sometimes he's misunderstood because he has such a wide vision that never fits any specialist's box. But that's exactly what many love about him. Many of his posts relate to affairs from the news or the Torah Portion of the Week or are new insights that suddenly befell him. * He hopes that his words will inspire and inform, reassure the doubters but make the self-assured doubt more. He strives to bring a fresh perspective rather than bore you with the obvious. He doesn't expect his readers to agree. Rather, original minds must be disputed. In short, his main political positions are: anti-Trumpism, for Zionism, Intersectionality, non-violence, democracy, anti the fake peace process, for original-Orthodoxy, Science, Free Will, anti blaming-the-victim and for down-to-earth optimism. Read his blog how he attempts to bridge any discrepancies. He admits sometimes exaggerating to make a point, which could have him come across as nasty, while in actuality, he's quit a lovely person to interact with. He holds - how Dutch - that a strong opinion doesn't imply intolerance of other views. * His writing has been made possible by an allowance for second generation Holocaust survivors from the Netherlands. It has been his dream since he was 38 to try to make a difference by teaching through writing. He had three times 9-out-of-10 for Dutch at his high school finals but is spending his days communicating in English and Hebrew - how ironic. G-d must have a fine sense of humor. In case you wonder - yes, he is a bit dyslectic. November 13, 2018, he published his 500st blog post with the ToI. * He likes doing age-appropriate and age-inappropriate things and looks forward to getting to know his timeless mature out-of-the-box soul mate. * To send any personal reaction to him, scroll to the top of the blog post and click Contact Me.
