Amsterdam’s Shame: Jew Hunt Exposes Moral Decay
The Shame of Amsterdam: A City That Turned Its Back on Israel
In November 2024, a dark and shameful event unfolded on the streets of Amsterdam. The so-called “Jew Hunt,” a vile attack against Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, took place as Jew-haters roamed the city, targeting Israelis with unfiltered hatred. Five people were hospitalised and 62 arrested as a result of the clashes that erupted in Amsterdam. The world watched in horror, but for those paying attention, this was a ticking time bomb that finally exploded. Jew hatred—thinly veiled as anti-Israel sentiment—was on full display in the most anti-Israel city in the Netherlands.
A Slap on the Wrist for Hatred
Yesterday, as I read De Telegraaf, I was appalled to see the sentencing of the perpetrators. The maximum punishment? A mere 12 weeks of imprisonment. One of the convicted even justified the Holocaust, yet this grotesque ideology was met with little more than a symbolic punishment. To make matters worse, the same breath that condemned the attackers also accused Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters of “misbehaving.” What was their crime? Cheering for their team? No evidence of wrongdoing was presented. A few fans removed a Palestinian flag, which had clearly been placed as a provocation. And this, according to the Dutch media, was somehow comparable to an attempted pogrom on Amsterdam’s streets.
This false equivalence is not just misleading—it is a damning reflection of the moral decay that has gripped the Netherlands. When the removal of a provocative flag is treated as equal to an attempt to hunt and harm Jews, it says everything about the state of justice and integrity in the country.
The Moral Bankruptcy of the Netherlands
Reading the excuses made by the media for this pack of wild hyenas who attacked Israeli fans is utterly sickening. There was a time when Israelis considered the Netherlands a friend. That time is long gone. While Geert Wilders remains pro-Israel, his influence is limited in a fragmented political landscape. The harsh reality is that Amsterdam, and much of the Netherlands, has embraced a dangerous ideology that justifies violence against Jews under the guise of political opposition to Israel.
As someone who has stood weekly on Dam Square for “Time to Stand Up for Israel,” I have long warned of this growing menace. Now, the mask has fallen, and the true face of Dutch complicity is exposed. I have already called for a boycott of Amsterdam, and I stand by it. No Israeli should set foot in a city that tolerates this level of anti-Semitic violence.
Time for Israel to Respond
Israel’s response has been far too quiet. While the world demonizes Israel, our government remains overly restrained. It is no longer enough to say “never again” or “enough is enough.” Israel must act decisively—not just with words, but with meaningful actions. The Netherlands should feel the consequences of its moral failure.
Consider this: when Israeli embassies worldwide invited the media to witness the horrific GoPro footage captured by Hamas terrorists during the October 7th massacre, the Dutch national broadcaster NOS refused to watch. Think about that. They willingly blind themselves to the truth while spreading daily lies about Israel. This is not journalism—it is propaganda.
A Call to Action: Stand Up for Israel
To all supporters of Israel: the time for silence is over. We must unite, we must fight back, and we must expose the hypocrisy of those who justify anti-Semitic violence while condemning Israel for defending itself. The Netherlands has shown where it stands. Now, we must show where we stand.
Israel will not be silenced. And neither will we.
Time To Stand Up For Israel!
