An Aliyah Success Story
The first time I came across Tammy Yusupov and Eduard Yusupov on social media, was a few years after they had moved to Israel.
And then Covid started.
Eduard had just posted something about not being able to pay their employees’ salaries in Vienna.
I remember thinking how a lot of small business entrepreneurs like them would probably go out of business.
The next time a post of his came up in my Facebook feed was the Vienna shooting in November 2020 that killed 4 and wounded 20 – where one of the attacker’s bullets went straight through the window of their Vienna clinic.
I remember thinking how good it was that they made aliyah, but how bad all that must be for business.
First they can’t pay salaries, and then their employees are getting shot at. Most entrepreneurs would have given up.
But here they are a few short years later, with their two clinics in Vienna thriving, and having just launched a third clinic here in Israel.
The kids are all grown up and are helping run the family business. Their eldest, Elyahu Yusupov (recently married), manages money matters and growth, and Gilad Yusupov, who recently completed his army service and got engaged, runs marketing here in Israel. Their youngest is in beauty school.
Most people would be satisfied that all is going well with the family business but Tammy Yusupov is not like other people. She has a genuine desire to help others, but in Vienna (and now in Israel), only doctors can inject needles into patients in her clinics. So when she came across a four-year Chinese Medicine program in Israel, she decided to go for it. This is another layer of natural treatment that she applies to help people in any way she can.
Tammy gets a lot of satisfaction out of helping people with their health issues, feel better about themselves, and get things back into balance. This is her purpose in life and it’s fulfilling on many levels.
These days, apart from going back and forth between Israel and Vienna, Eduard and Tammy are giving inspirational talks about their journey to becoming successful entrepreneurs, and about the various medical cosmetic treatments and products that have made them so popular abroad.
