On Monday night (15), an antisemitic protest took place outside an educational event in Goiânia (Brazil) featuring Major Rafael Rozenszajn, Portuguese-language spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The demonstration, marked by hostility, escalated into the venue and caused significant discomfort among attendees. Protesters displayed flags with swastikas, burned the flags of the United States and Israel, and unsuccessfully attempted to disrupt the lecture. Their clear objective was to promote antisemitic hatred and spread Nazi ideology.

Despite the pressure, Major Rafael Rozenszajn delivered his presentation with distinction. Widely recognized in Brazil, he has been invited to appear on major television networks including CNN, GloboNews, Jovem Pan, Record News, and BandNews, solidifying his role in public debate.

According to Marcia Kelner Polisuk, who organized the Major’s visit to Brazil, the lecture was conducted with excellence despite the adversities faced.

Brazil stands out internationally as one of the nations most engaged with the topic of Israel, with a significant portion of its population expressing support for the country.
