Hamodia, the largest Orthodox Jewish newspaper in America catering to Torah Jewry, first reported disturbing truths about a Lithuanian hero, Jonas Noreika, on Monday, August 6, 2018. On April 20, 2023, they reported again about Noreika. The second article focused on a Jewish day school whose students demonstrated outside the Lithuanian Consulate in New York. The students were protesting Lithuania’s rampant re-writing of Holocaust history, and Lithuania’s hero worshiping of Holocaust perpetrators.

The head of the school was invited into the Consulate. Hamodia reports: “During the meeting, the Lithuanians advocated for the heroic stature they bestow on Jonas Noreika, saying that Lithuanian courts proclaimed him innocent”. This representation by Lithuanian government officials is a complete lie. The courts did no such thing.

One individual who viewed the Holocaust documentary, J’Accuse! wrote:

“”Thank you for sharing this very important film with us.

As I mentioned on Tuesday, in 20XX I was invited to the Lithuanian Embassy in Washington to teach about Chanukah and to lead music with the families of the embassy staff. I was told, more than once, that Lithuania deplored what happened to the Jews during the Holocaust and their heritage was a precious part of the Lithuanian culture.

This film upends all of that, and rightfully so.
The entire program in which I participated is an example of Lithuania’s attempt to whitewash its active participation in the murder of Jews and the glorification of the perpetrators. 

I feel a bit exploited and I am not a person who ignores such things.”

i.e. Lithuania’s continual propaganda to Jews is also a contemptible lie. They have developed a sophisticated program to subvert Jewish ethics.

Lithuanian diplomats are accustomed to deceiving the world about Jewish and Holocaust issues. The US Congress has urged Lithuania to stop lying about the Holocaust, and to stop misusing Congressional documents for Holocaust revisionism.

Every request or demand for truth has been rejected by the government of Lithuania. Lithuania’s diplomats cannot be trusted. A litmus test prerequisite for any conversation with a Lithuanian diplomat should be: “Was Jonas Noreika a Holocaust perpetrator?.” The only response should be a resounding “YES”. If the Lithuanian government representative responds with anything other than this one word answer, they are committing Holocaust revisionism. Any person who elects to continue the conversation, is condoning Holocaust revisionism.

Lithuania continues to seek Jews to appoint as their Honorary Consuls. These are their shills. However, this also presents us with an opportunity to ask these Lithuanian diplomats the question directly. Email them and ask one simple question: “Was Jonas Noreika a Holocaust perpetrator?.” The answer is uncomplicated and monosyllabic. Anything other than “yes” is deflection or dishonesty. Get Lithuania’s representatives on record.
