Charles Jacobs, currently president of Americans for Peace and Tolerance, has founded and co-founded several human rights and pro-Jewish organizations. He co-founded the Boston office of CAMERA, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (1989). As co-founder of the American Anti-Slavery Group (1993), Charles helped redeem tens of thousands of black slaves from Muslim Brotherhood-backed jihad raiders in Sudan for which he was granted the Boston Freedom Award (2000) by Coretta Scot King, Dr. Martin Luther King’s widow. He co-founded the David Project (2002) to help Jewish students who were harassed and intimidated on campuses across America. His latest project is the International Freedom Coalition. Charles has been published in the “Wall Street Journal,” “New York Times,” “Tablet,” and the Encyclopedia Brittanica.
