Dr. Gail Moskowitz, Past President and Past Organizational VP of Hadassah Southern Seaboard, currently is a member of the Hadassah Grassroots Advocacy Team in the National Education and Advocacy Department, after leading advocacy efforts in Richmond, VA, organizing their recent “Date With The State” legislative calls. She served as tri-state chair for two recent Hadassah tri-region conferences and acted as the conference advisor for two other tri-region meetings. Gail joined Hadassah in 1999 as a member of the first class of the Hadassah Leadership Academy (HLA). Most recently, she joined the Hadassah Leadership Training & Development Team which is part of the Hadassah Organization Division, culling, updating and rebranding leadership material in the Hadassah Leadership Library on myHadassah and served as the Co-chair of Hadassah Chapter Board Orientations. Gail is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice and has just ended her tenure as an Assistant Professor in Teaching, Adjunct, of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. Locally, she served as President of Congregation Or Atid. She is a board member of American Zionist Movement. Gail and her husband, Dr. Bill Moskowitz, a Hadassah Associate and pediatric cardiologist, have three daughters, Holly, Andi and Juliana, who are all Hadassah members, and they have six grandchildren.
