Menucha Saitowitz writes about Bedouin society, Jewish-Arab relations, religion and politics, and the future of the Negev. She is the Director of Development at Desert Stars, Israel’s leading Bedouin leadership development organization, where she works at the intersection of leadership, education, social mobility, and partnership in Israel’s south. She holds an MA in Religious and Middle Eastern Politics from Bar-Ilan University and has spent more than a decade working on issues of leadership, opportunity, and shared society in the Negev. Menucha lives in Be’er Sheva with her husband and their four children.
