Michael brings his passion for Jewish history and culture to his role as the executive director of the Indiana Jewish Historical Society. He has contributed as an author for the Encyclopedia of Indianapolis and previously served as the executive director of Hillel at Southern Illinois University. With a strong background in Jewish history, program innovation, and volunteer work, Michael earned his Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington and holds a certificate from the Borns Jewish Studies Program. Additionally, he is a veteran of the US Army Reserve and National Guard, having served in the Medical Corps. Michael enjoys discussing the history and evolution of Jewish cuisine and is the host of the IN-Jewish History Podcast, which explores Indiana's Jewish past.
