Mitchell Slepian worked in the Jewish world, served on shul boards, and has done extensive volunteer work with American Friends of ELEM. Over a decade ago, he helped create its media outreach programs. With ELEM, he has worked with distressed youth in Israel. He is chairman of the Ten Mile River Scout Museum in Narrowsburg, NY, and previously worked for a former NYC Council Member and Mayor.
