Rebecca Wald, J.D. is the executive director of Bruchim, a nonprofit that supports non-circumcising Jewish families as they navigate the often complex terrain of Jewish institutional acceptance and the family dynamics surrounding their unusual choice. She is also the co-author of Celebrating Brit Shalom, a guide to alternative Jewish covenant ceremonies for families welcoming a new child. Rebecca graduated with honors in English from The George Washington University, and received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she served on the editorial board of the Brooklyn Law Review.
