Behind the Hamas Terror Attack

The October 7, 2023 Hamas terror attack on Israel was a shocking and unprecedented assault which took place during the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. It involved a massive rocket barrage from Gaza, followed by a coordinated infiltration of hundreds of fighters into Israeli territory, which attacked civilians and military targets in more than 20 locations.

Hamas claimed that the attack was a response to Israel’s violations of the status quo at the mosque compound, as well as its ongoing blockade and aggression against Gaza. The attackers showed no mercy, even killing children and elderly people. The attack triggered a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where many people were left without electricity, water or medical care.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal published Dr. Victor Davis Hanson’s, ”Hamas and amoral clarity” on October 14, 2023. He commences with, “One unexpected blowback from the medieval Hamas’s barbaric murdering of hundreds of Israeli civilians is the revelation of current global amorality.” Further, we learn that Palestinians for years fooled naifs in Europe and the Obama and Biden administrations into sending billions of dollars into Gaza. These monies were channeled to tunnel into Israel, to obtain a huge rocket arsenal and to craft plans to wipe out Jews.

“The Biden administration has blood on its hands.” Once the mass murdering started, the amoral clarity of our “allies” was stunning. NATO partner Turkey openly sided with the killers.

It —along with Blinken—called for cease-fire at the moment the Hamas death squads had finished and Israel was ready to hold Hamas to account.”

Moving further along, some of the most vehement supporters of the Hamas death squads were immigrants to America from the Middle East. “Yet they now endorse the Hamas butchering of Jewish civilians. Its savagery is aimed at executing, raping and beheading Jews and then mutilating their bodies. Hamas apparently hopes to shock the Israeli government into voluntarily committing suicide—–in line with the ancient Hamas agenda to destroy the Jewish state.”

The wise Professor Hanson’s summation. “Our leaders must accept that in the past three years of the Biden administration, serial American appeasement abroad, disunity at home and social chaos have encouraged an entire host of enemies—-China , Russia, Iran, North Korea, Middle East illiberal regimes and former friends such as Turkey and Qatar.”

Gatestone Institute posted Bassam Tawil’s “The two-state solution to murder Jews” on November 2, 2023. His introductory commencement is as alarming as it is truthful.

“The most recent poll, published one month before the Hamas massacre, showed that 58% of the Palestinians would vote for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh as opposed to 37% for Palestinian.

The poll also showed that 58% of the Palestinian public supports “armed confrontations and intifada” against Israel. It is worth knowing that in 2007, Hamas expelled the PA from the Gaza Strip after killing hundreds of Abbas loyalists, some of whom were dragged through the streets and lynched, while others were thrown from rooftops of tall buildings.

What the West does not seem to realize is that “Abbas is in power in the West Bank thanks to Israel’s presence there.—-Creating a Palestinian state in the West Bank would mean turning it into another Iran-led base for Jihad against Jews. Bassam Tawil’s closing paragraph has particular has particular meaning at this time:

“It is high time for Biden and other leaders to stop pushing delusional ideas that will quickly lead to a repeat of the October 7 massacre. How many Jewish babies must be beheaded or baked alive in an oven one wonders, for them to see that Palestinian leaders have radicalized their people against Israel to a point where they brag about slaughtering Jews with their own hands.”

Biden, Blinken and their useful idiots apparently are not aware that Abbass’s legacy includes being a Holocaust denier and one of a party of three who planned the Munich massacre of Israeli athletes.
