Biblical prophecy on the Gaza conflict?

Jewish communities around the world study and read in synagogues a portion of the Jewish scripture each week.

The portion for the current week is Genesis 6:11-13 which covers the biblical account of Noah and the flood.

The biblical text reads as follows:

” Now the earth was corrupt before G-d and the earth became full of Hamas.

And G-d saw the earth, and behold it become corrupted, for all fresh had corrupted its way on the earth.

And G-d said to Noah, “The end of all flesh come before Me, for the earth has become full of Hamas, because of them behold I am destroying them from the earth”.

In the original Hebrew, ‘Hamas’ is translated variously as violence, robbery and extortion.
