As an education activist, history buff and investigative journalist, I was excited to interview Bill O’Reilly. After our lengthy conversation, I was impressed. Bill O’Reilly is very happy and content as his book debuted on the bestsellers list at Number 1, despite no cable network or syndicated radio media outlet promoting it, his website, billoreilly.com reaches millions everyday and he still gets to raise awareness and money for causes he believes in.
We met at the WABC Radio Pubs and Politics Event, co-hosted by Curtis Sliwa and Rita Cosby, a sold out event. O’Reilly was part of a tribute honoring the military. Way before President Trump made veterans needs an issue on the campaign in 2016, O’Reilly raised millions for their causes.
Speaking of Trump, who he has known for over 35 years, he stated that while he has no plans to get involved in anyone’s political agenda, yet, knows Trump is no Nazi. He pointed out he didn’t take sides when the birther issue surrounded Obama.
Today we are living with a spotlight in evil…..People Need Filters
Which brought us to ‘KILLING THE SS’…. Coincidentally, O’Reilly and I spoke on the eve of the 80th anniversary of Kristalnacht, how timely.
‘KILLING THE SS’ Bill O’Reilly’s Eighth Book in the #1 Best-Selling History Series in History, Tells the Story of the Post-War Manhunt for Nazi War Criminals.
The book offers NEW information that was shared with O’Reilly and Dugard from members of the Israeli government and noted American organizations and Holocaust survivors. It is also important for people under the age of 50 to read, as schools don’t teach American history, World War II or the Holocaust in depth.
In KILLING THE SS: The Hunt for the Worst War Criminals in History, once again Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard bring readers into the annals of the World War II era to the global manhunt for the most notorious Nazis in Adolf Hitler’s inner circle. After the fall of the Third Reich, combined British, Israeli and American intelligence forces worked ceaselessly to apprehend Adolf Eichmann, Josef Mengele, Martin Bormann, Klaus Barbie and Elfriede Huth, among others – the top operatives for Hilter’s chilling Final Solution.
In the hallmark style of the prior seven books in this national, #1 best-selling series, KILLING THE SS brings the reader on the epic and brave search hunting down Hitler’s worst henchmen and women – the very people who deployed the Fuhrer’s plans – as they fled for their lives hiding in South America, frequently in plain sight and working menial jobs to throw off pursuers, but usually with the luxury they didn’t afford their victims, with their families. The book reunites fans of the series with an in-depth look at this particular facet of WWII – bringing the Nazis to trial and execution for their war crimes.
With a pace like that of a spy thriller, KILLING THE SS follows members of the Mossad, MI6, and the CIA, as they piece together tips to flush out the Nazis on the lam. Isser Harel, Benny Ferencz, Eli Rosenbaum, Simon Wiesenthal and even the future prime minister Yitzhak Shamir
are among those who played major roles in history’s darkest chapter setting traps and creating extraordinary plans to capture the Reich’s masterminds. The book ends with a startling, unexpected development when unlikely partners hunt down the notorious Nazi rocket scientist, Heinz Krug.
O’Reilly hopes if anything that people learn what evil history really is. This book is a perfect holiday gift.
