Building Bridges for Israel’s Future
Two weeks ago, I had the privilege of joining Roberto Busel on his podcast Un Café con Kavana. It was my first time speaking English on such a platform, and while it was a challenge, it was also deeply rewarding. We explored themes that matter profoundly to me: truth, resilience, and the courage to stand up for what’s right, especially when it comes to Israel.
Our conversation centered around the mission of my foundation, Time To Stand Up For Israel. This initiative was born from a simple yet powerful idea: that unity transcends politics, and that individuals, regardless of background, can move from passive awareness to meaningful action. In a world increasingly polarized, telling the story of Israel with honesty and compassion is more important than ever.
What I didn’t share on the podcast, but feel compelled to write about now, is my personal connection to Israel. My parents, with unwavering conviction, dedicated themselves voluntarily to supporting Israel in extraordinary ways. Their actions were not driven by recognition or reward, but by a deep belief that it was the right thing to do. Their legacy inspires me daily and will surely be the subject of a future podcast episode.
Today, the urgency to build bridges is greater than ever. The recent peace agreement that brought our hostages home is a moment of relief, but also a reminder of the pain endured. The trauma is real, and the scars are deep. Yet, this is precisely the time to unite. All pro-Israel advocates, organizations, and individuals must come together, not just to defend Israel’s right to exist, but to celebrate its contributions to humanity.
Israel is a beacon of innovation, culture, and moral values. It’s a place where democracy thrives in the heart of the Middle East. It’s a country where women, men, and minorities are treated with dignity and equality. These are not just ideals, they are realities that Israel continues to uphold, even in the face of adversity.
Let’s not allow ourselves to be divided by politics or religion. The essence of this movement is not about who leads the government or what faith one practices. It’s about the fundamental truth: Israel has the right to exist and the duty to defend herself. It’s about choosing life over death, construction over destruction, and peace over conflict.
Through Time To Stand Up For Israel, we aim to build bridges, between communities, nations, and hearts. We invite you to be part of this movement. Listen to our podcast, share our message, and most importantly, take action. Whether it’s through dialogue, education, or advocacy, every effort counts.
