Changing times

Antisemites shout
Predators lurk
Politicians ignore

Innocents fear
Soldiers fight
Sirens blare

World condemns
Holocaust forgotten
Uncertainty prevails

And

Miracles abound
Fortitude strengthens
Antisemites realize

The world watches
Nations awed
Jews inspired

Unity
Joy
Trust

Redemption

*****

The above reflects shifting events and moods.

At first, sadness at crimes, disbelief at indifference, fear at threats.

Then, Divine intervention, miracles galore, and the fear and apprehension changes to joy and trust that the Almighty “watches over the land, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.” (Deuteronomy 11; 12)

Dread changes to wonder and ecstasy. There is a new situation in the world, as everyone, all nations, recognize His grandeur and His salvation.

Redemption with Moshiach seems close.

We can feel it, we look forward to it, as a new feeling permeates, a feeling of confidence that G-d Almighty will keep His promise to redeem His people, just like the first time in the Exodus, only this time forever.
