China exploits wests societal divisions harming Israel
The recent Israel-Hamas conflict has sparked a profound and divisive debate in the Western world, particularly in the United States. This polarization has deep roots in the proliferation of extreme leftist ideologies and the covert manipulation by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The conflict, which traditionally sees support split between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian camps, has taken a darker turn with the emergence of pro-Hamas sentiments—posing significant questions about the underlying forces at play.
In the midst of widespread pro-Palestinian protests, a lone hero has emerged: Mosab Hassan Yousef, famously known as the “Son of Hamas.” Born in 1978 in Ramallah, Mosab is the eldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas. Initially involved in Hamas, Mosab’s perspective changed dramatically during his imprisonment in Israel, where he witnessed the organization’s brutalities firsthand. This experience led him to become an informant for the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service. His conversion to Christianity in 2004 and subsequent public renouncement of Hamas in 2008 resulted in his estrangement from his family.
After a harrowing journey, Mosab applied for political asylum in the United States in 2007, which was granted in 2010 following testimony from his former Shin Bet handler. Since then, Mosab has been vocal about the terror crimes committed by Hamas, challenging pro-Hamas activists in numerous public debates. His confrontations often expose the ignorance and naivety of those who support Hamas, shedding light on the true nature of the terrorist organization.
A critical shift has been observed in the nature of the protests—from a call for peace and support for Palestine to an endorsement of Hamas and its terrorist activities. This transformation cannot be ignored or dismissed as a mere coincidence. The Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), a New Jersey-based organization specializing in identifying disinformation, released a report in May alleging that the CCP has played a significant role in fueling these protests.
The report, titled “Contagious Disruption: How CCP Influence and Radical Ideologies Threaten Critical Infrastructure and Campuses Across the United States,” details how pro-communist organizations in the West, allegedly influenced by the CCP, have been working to disrupt American society. A prominent group identified is “Shut It Down for Palestine” (SID4P), which has been instrumental in organizing numerous pro-Palestinian demonstrations across the United States, including on college campuses.
SID4P’s convenors include several organizations: The People’s Forum, ANSWER Coalition, International People’s Assembly, Al-Awda NY, National Students for Justice in Palestine, Palestinian Youth Movement, and Palestinian American Community Center NJ. Notably, The People’s Forum’s operations are reportedly funded by a $12 million donation from Goldman Sachs’ charitable arm, likely linked to Neville Roy Singham, a known admirer of Maoism. Singham’s ties to the CCP are well-documented, with his organizations and initiatives frequently promoting pro-Communist rhetoric.
In August 2023, US Senator Marco Rubio requested an investigation into left-wing activist groups in the US tied to CCP funding networks. Rubio expressed concern over organizations linked to Neville Roy Singham operating with apparent impunity in the United States, receiving direction from the CCP.
Since November 2023, SID4P has organized frequent direct action activities, resulting in significant public disruption and numerous arrests. These activities have ranged from shutting down traffic in Midtown Manhattan to storming the headquarters of major corporations like Blackrock and Fox News. The timeline of these events shows a clear escalation, with protests increasingly targeting critical infrastructure and causing widespread chaos.
The shift from support for Palestine to support for Hamas within the protest movement highlights a dangerous trend: the covert influence of the CCP in exploiting and exacerbating societal divisions in the West. By supporting radical ideologies and disruptive activities, the CCP aims to destabilize American society, posing a severe threat to national security. The CCP must be combated with every resource possible.
Since the Hamas terrorist attack last October, various anti-Israel and pro-CCP forces have emerged almost simultaneously in the West, disrupting the normal functioning of Western societies. Are all these activities independently initiated, or are they globally coordinated actions? What is the purpose?
Mosab Hassan Yousef’s courageous stand against Hamas provides a beacon of truth amid the chaos, challenging the narratives promoted by these manipulated movements. As the US government and society grapple with these challenges, it becomes imperative to recognize and counteract the insidious influence of the CCP, ensuring that calls for peace and justice are not co-opted by those with ulterior motives of chaos and disruption.
