Civilization or barbarism
I read in the New York Post on the 24th, that the Israel Defense Force intercepted Mahmud speaking to his parents on the cell phone of the woman he had just killed. Exultant, Mahmud said: “Father, I killed at least 10 Jews with my own hands”. Proudly, he declared: “Mother, your son is a hero”. The father asks: “Go back to Gaza, that’s enough.” Mahmud pleads: “Please be proud of me, father.” And he adds: “What do you mean, come back? What is wrong with you? Either victory or martyrdom. My mother sent me into the world to fight for religion.” Before hanging up, Mahmud reiterates that he sent images of the killings. Evidences of his heroism, evidences of his particular barbarity.
Understand, Hamas rules Gaza. Terrorists are not Martians. They are ordinary people who call their parents to tell them what they did on a Saturday. That Saturday, they invaded Israel, stole, raped, tore apart, beheaded, mutilated, burned, murdered and kidnapped innocent people, babies, children, teenagers, adults, pregnant women, Holocaust survivors and even dogs. The scenes, captured by the terrorists themselves, excited left-wing militants and useful idiots who served as fodder for demonstrations where they shouted, hysterically: “Heil Hamas”.
The facts allow the induction and deduction that the population of Gaza is brainwashed. Self-esteem gives way to slavish obedience and devotion to a lost cause, with no return and no future. The fanatics follow a totalitarian religious ideology that has the extinction of the State of Israel and the Jews among its positions. The people of Gaza suffer, while their psychopathic leaders live in Qatar, Turkey or Iran.
The massacre on October 7th leaves no doubt that Hamas is indoctrinating young people to behave like savages, beings incapable of using reason, of achieving any notion of morality, unfit for life in society. Such atrocities were committed by Germans and Japanese in the past. They only accepted unconditional surrender, allowing the return of civility to Japan and Germany, after the Allies had devastated Dresden, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki. Defeating Hamas is a necessary achievement, only after that, bringing civilization into Gaza will be possible, overcoming the victimhood that leads to dependence, submission and hatred.
Israel is the result of the efforts of Jewish bankers, farmers, traders, industrialists and workers who fled anti-Semitism, enriched land, invested, transformed the scarcity of swamps and deserts into an oasis of abundance, and built a free, open, prosperous society. The Jewish people can guide the Palestinian people on this journey, as they were guided by Moses through the sands of Sinai, fleeing Egypt, towards freedom.
