Compelled to Action
It’s been three days since Hamas terrorists invaded Israel.
It’s been three days since innocent men, women, children, grandparents were deliberately targeted and murdered.
It’s been three days since Hamas kidnapped whole families and tried to wipe out peaceful communities.
Beeri. Magen. Nahal Oz. My home. Our home. This is an attack on Israel, the Jewish world, and morality.
We should all be compelled to action! Admittedly action means something different to us all.
There are first responders in Israel treating the wounded.
There are reservists grabbing their bags, saying goodbye to their families and heading to southern bases.
There are lone soldiers in Los Angeles leaving the EXTREME safety we take for granted here in America, getting on an El Al flight and joining their IDF unit in preparation for battle.
There are those that are giving generously to support people on the ground.
There are those writing articles, posting on social media, attending rallies, and calling their senators to express solidarity with Israel in her time of need.
We are compelled to respond, compelled to act.
We must each do our part, because inaction and silence is not an option.
Silence will lead to our devastation as a people.
Silene will put us in the same position as November 10th, 1939; the day after Kristallnacht.
The situation is about to get worse before it gets better.
Israel and the Middle East will soon look very different.
It will be difficult and I won’t get into the details here; but Israel will continue to need your support and your action.
Israel will need it not just for the next 15 second TikTok post, nor for the next month, nor possibly just a year.
Israel will always need it.
Find how you can help and please continue to do so!
