Do Not Be Discouraged, Our Flames Will Be Lit

Do Not Be Discouraged, Our Flames Will Be Lit

(Reflections on the Haftorah for Torah Portion Behalotecha)

(Zeharia 2:14- 4:7)

Be not discouraged; be who you are;

Be who you are meant to be, more each day,

Whatever challenges, trials, tribulations,

Political, internal or external,

Or, any other obstacles invade

Your sense of security and well-being

Beyond all logic of outcome; believe,

After all you have done, or could have done,

The dire picture, you envision before you,

Will be transformed for good; the future, promised

Will be realized and your inner Sanctuary

Of faith will have its outer manifestation.

It will be a blessed Sanctum for all,

Where the Divine and we will meet as One, in the One.

Do not be discouraged, our flames will be lit.
