A Dutch anti-Semitic cartoon after two weeks hit the international press, but was mistranslated and misunderstood. Here is the real deal.
The once respectable Dutch daily de Volkskrant published yet another anti-Semitic caricature. One sees the British Labour leader implying that his anti-Semitism is not so bad since the Israeli leader is also accused — of bribery. This is distinctive of Jew-hatred: one Jew does something wrong, allegedly, (preferably something financial) which then ‘justifies’ to hate all Jews.
Translation: Corbyn says (after Jesus, John 8:7): He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first. On the pile of stones it says: “outgoing [sic] accusations anti semitism.”
