To our elected representatives,
We must strike Hezbollah immediately.
We have to bring back the 60,000+ northern residents to their homes and offer them lasting safety.
I am not saying this flippantly. I am a reservist who’s unit is based on the Northern border and will likely be involved in the conflict. I have already spent roughly 6 months of this past year in the north. I have no dreams of being Rambo or Maverick, but I do want to bring security to my family. I know that this can personally impact me. It doesn’t matter though.
We are at a crossroads with one correct option.
Once again there are rumors that the US is trying to persuade us to not attack Hezbollah.
We must ignore that pressure.
For one thing, we must assert our sovereignty and cannot let bad actors get the idea that they can control us.
Kamala Harris’s recent comments that she used US aid as leverage to redirect our war efforts is proof that these are not people to rely on.
The Biden/Harris Admin drew out this war and left enormous negative consequences on all involved including Gazans.
However, much more important than the international arena are the events of the past week.
Exploding Hezbollah communication devices is probably the greatest military feat since D-Day.
We have successfully weakened Hezbollah in the most meaningful of ways.
- Their leadership is in disarray
- They have no clear way of communicating
- We injured many of their warriors
- And in one glorious move we have identified who is in Hezbollah
The iron is hot and we must mobilize.
Waiting gives them a chance to regroup.
For the sake of our country.
For the sake of the Jewish people.
