Give AOC credit

I, for one, am happy that AOC refused to speak at the Peace Now memorial for Yitzhak Rabin. There are many lessons to be learned from this refusal/rejection.

First, it continues to validate her anti-Israel credentials. She is not trying to fool anyone. This is who she is – as foolish as I think she is. She is a solid component of the “progressive liberal left” that has swallowed intersectionality hook, line, and sinker – without any reasonable logic. Despite the oppression that Jews have suffered for the past 2000 years, they are to be considered a major part of the “privileged white” class that needs to now be oppressed. And they don’t consider that racist! And despite the fact that there really is no “Palestinian people”, only Arabs (mostly originating from surrounding countries who found work in Palestine working for the Jews that immigrated there) who have been consistently misled by their leaders (initially either into fighting against the Jews or by being told to abandon their homes and then subsequently placed in refugee camps where they were enslaved by their own people who placed the blame on the Jews). These people, who have been deceived by their leaders for the past 70+ years, have now convinced the liberal left of their plight despite their own Arab family giving up on the Palestinian leadership and making peace with Israel and the Jews. AOC has bought the entire falsehood and is not afraid to completely align herself with it

Second, it also puts the lie to the two state solution that the Israeli and the liberal Jewish left have been pushing for the past quarter century.  The Palestinian officials have never negotiated in good faith as they have rejected out of hand any proposal offered including an offer of 96% of what they asked for. It is not in the leadership’s interest to solve the problems and live in peace. It is in their interest to cry victim and get aid far beyond any other refugee group has ever gotten (and pocket the money for their own benefit while their own people suffer). And yet, they cry for more, similar to other groups they ally with. The Palestinian officials are so corrupt and guilty of punishing their own people that Arab countries, that have traditionally supported them unconditionally, have come to their senses and realize that the PA and Hamas are unworthy of support and that peace with Israel is attainable without them.

Finally, it points out that AOC and her colleagues are not interested in improving the United States or working toward peace in the Middle East or at home. Israel has recently made peace with an increasing number of Middle East Arab countries that nobody in their wildest dreams would have thought possible just 4 years ago. So if real peace is not their agenda, then what is?  Their only agenda is political power. Power for them to manipulate the populace toward their socialist agenda; an agenda that has never worked. As Margaret Thatcher so eloquently put it: The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money. But in the meantime AOC and her cronies will milk the system for as much money and power as they can get while destroying our way of life. Instead of improving our system, their goal is to destroy it.

In the end, it is the electorate, that allows AOC to continue on this socialist power grab, that is to blame. It’s just a shame that the liberal voters in America, especially in her district, are so guilt-ridden and gullible to believe the lies she passes off. I only hope we all wake up before anarchy replaces our democracy. As for AOC I give her credit for being a great demagogue!
