When young people gather to talk about careers, dreams, and the future, the conversation often goes far beyond the job market. That was the case on August 26, when around 150 participants joined another edition of Hillel São Paulo’s Business Club, held at BTG Pactual’s headquarters in São Paulo.

The event combined knowledge, inspiration, and a sense of belonging in a dialogue with Renato Cohn and Márcio Luftglas, partners at BTG Pactual, moderated by Fabio Topczewski, president of Hillel São Paulo.

As they shared their professional journeys, the speakers also reflected on their Jewish heritage, their experiences within the community, and the meaning of community involvement in their lives. More than stories of professional success, they offered insights on choices, values, and the importance of building a path that preserves what defines us.

The conversation highlighted that identity and career do not need to follow separate paths. On the contrary: values, belonging, and responsibility can be essential elements in shaping a solid and meaningful future.

Márcio Luftglas, treasurer of CONIB (Brazilian Israelite Confederation), also shared his experience of community engagement, reinforcing a message especially relevant for younger generations: a community remains alive when its youth not only know its history but also find reasons within it to participate, contribute, and build the future.

The meeting also welcomed Sergio Napchan, CONIB’s executive director, who honored the initiative and closely followed the participation of the young audience.

The Business Club embodies one of Hillel São Paulo’s missions: building bridges. Bridges between young people and leading professionals; between knowledge and opportunity; between individual growth and collective responsibility. It is a space where networking becomes genuine connection, and shared experiences turn into inspiration.

The presence of approximately 150 young people demonstrates the strength of initiatives that resonate with the challenges and aspirations of a new generation. More than preparing them for the job market, gatherings like this help prepare them to take their place in the community and in society.

Because building the future also means knowing where we come from. And when youth, knowledge, and identity walk together, the future gains not only new professionals but new leaders—aware of their values, their history, and their role in strengthening and connecting the community.

Hillel São Paulo extends its gratitude to BTG Pactual, Renato Cohn, and Márcio Luftglas for their generosity, hospitality, and willingness to share their stories with the community’s youth.
