Honoring Antisemites

By now, most people around the world will have heard/seen President Joseph Biden award Medals of Freedom on his way out of the White House.

If Biden was concerned about his legacy till now with all his failures and reputation as the worst US president in US history, he certainly nailed that reputation by awarding a medal, of any kind, to George Soros. Certainly, he wanted to acknowledge the fact that Soros was a major donor to the Democratic party. That would be somewhat commendable but how does one equate that fact with Soros’ spending many millions of dollars to exhibit his blatant antisemitism. The records show how his money went to many organizations and groups that directly and indirectly support terrorism. This includes funding for the college anti-Israel demonstrations that have rocked the campuses in the United States.

How can Biden, on the one hand, send ammunition to Israel and on the other defend such Jew-hating people. Notwithstanding that Soros is himself a Jew which makes his actions even worse.

The only semi-explanation for the president’s actions is that he really doesn’t know and understand what he is doing and that awarding that medal was arranged by his antisemitic staff. Perhaps his being pushed out of running for a second term and his selection of the failed Kamala Harris decision to take over is the punishment he deserves.
