How Can We Co-Partner Responsibly?

Torah Portion- Ki Tavo (Deuteronomy- Chapter 26:1 – 29:8)

How grateful are we for all we are given?

All that is Divinely  bequeathed to us;

And, yet, we forget the gifts in our midst

One of which is hope based on belief.

For all that which is Divinely promised

Will manifest itself in time and space,

If we co-partner responsibly.

Anguish, in waiting, brings existential angst.

Do we have the patience fki tor dawn at nightfall?

How can we be certain of the outcome?

It is seen on the faces of those with whom

We share all that we are meant to give.

To the Levi, the widow, the orphan and the stranger.

Nothing remains but of that which we gave.
