The news media in the West and throughout the world have unfortunately focused on the negative possibilities with the demise of the Ayatollah regime in Iran which has been imploding recently due to economic collapse, civil unrest inside Iran and the regime’s slaughter of innocent protestors inside Iran. This negative outlook is unhelpful and only serves to help the regime’s propaganda efforts to avoid their imminent collapse. Yet when one explores the numerous positive future outcomes from the collapse of the Islamic regime in Iran, they outweigh the negatives. For nearly 50 years Iran’s rich culture, history, art and ancient past has been closed off to the world because of the totalitarian, hostage-taking, criminal nature of the Ayatollah regime in power. With this evil regime gone, Americans and individuals from around the world can again visit Iran through tourism and discover a remarkable land as well as a beautiful culture which has almost be forgotten by humanity.

IRAN’S TOURISM: A WHOLE NEW WORLD TO EXPLORE

Individuals who traveled to Iran prior to 1979 or have had close friendships with Iranians over the years know that the people of Iran have a warm culture of hospitality and friendship towards their guests. Prior to 1979, Iran was a major vacation destination for countless Hollywood celebrities and international artists like Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra and the Beatles. Unfortunately, the criminal Ayatollah regime and its goons for nearly 50 years have taken many Americans and foreign visitors to Iran hostage. The regime’s thugs have held innocent visitors to Iran hostage and up for ransom in order to extract money from foreign governments or secure the releases of their terrorists imprisoned in the West. This evil regime’s behavior has not been one of a normal government but that of a radical Islamic mafia entity that could care less about tourism or friendship.

With the terrorist-sponsoring Ayatollahs out of power in Iran and a new secular democratic government in place, Iran will again warmly be opened to tourists, foodies and explorers to freely visit the country without fear of being randomly arrested and held for ransom. Iran is one of those special nations that not only has all four seasons, but also has various different landscapes from high altitude snow-capped mountains, to rainforests, to deserts, amazing shorelines on the Persian Gulf as well as breath-taking ancient cities and villages. One could not only enjoy time on the shores of the remarkable Caspian Sea, but stay on the resort island of Kish in the Persian Gulf, or tour the ruins of the ancient capital of Persepolis. While some of the Arab nations on the Persian Gulf like the United Arab Emirates or Qatar have turned their shorelines in the past decades into ultra-modern seaside resorts for tourists, Iran under the rule of the backwards Islamic mullahs has not done the same in the last 50 years. Therefore, there is no reason why a future secular, democratic and modern Iran would not also transform its hundreds of miles of seashores along the Persian Gulf and its islands in the Persian Gulf into amazing vacation resorts for foreign tourists. With plentiful energy revenues, a future free Iranian government could transform acres of land on the Persian Gulf could into the French Rivera of the Middle East! More importantly, the business of tourism could potentially generate a steady revenue for millions of Iranians living in the southwestern part of country through jobs and business ventures.

One must also not forget that Iran is a destination on the “bucket list” for millions around the world who are lovers of exotic culture, music, dance, food and ancient history. For decades these tourists have been reluctant to visiting Iran due to the unstable political environment in the country. Yet with a democratic, free and secular country that offers safety to visitors, millions who have not experienced Iran’s rich culture and incredible food can visit the nation. Almost every single major city in Iran has countless tourist sites, hand-crafted art pieces and endless eateries to explore. Moreover, Iranians can offer their unique hospitality that is rarely found in many Middle Eastern countries. The warm and welcoming nature of the Iranian people through out its many provinces, towns and villages will without a doubt be something tourists will be wanting to experience again and again once Iran is free from the grips of the criminal Ayatollahs. At the same time, lovers of exotic food and mouth-watering Iranian food can indulge in endless culinary delights from the various ethnic groups, tribes and peoples that make up Iran’s diverse population.

THE ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

For nearly 50 years the radical Islamic regime of the Ayatollahs, which forces its form of radical Shiite Islam on the people of Iran, has greatly restricted popular musical concerts, public non-religious singing and dancing as well as any form of “western” entertainment in the country. The regime has severely censored the arts, cinema and entertainment of the country to the point where many Iranian artists have fled the country and successfully pursued their work in the U.S., Europe, Canada and elsewhere in the world. Once this evil Ayatollah regime is gone from Iran, the arts and entertainment will not only return to the country, but America and western entertainers will be welcomed to perform in Iran which has a pro-American and pro-Western large population. Not only would Iranian artists from abroad return back to perform their music in Iran, but in a free, secular and democratic Iran all forms of entertainment would be welcomed and uncensored. With its diverse landscapes, one would not be surprised if a free Iran would be a desired location for major Hollywood and international film productions to be shot at. At the same time, one cannot forget that during the late 1960’s and 1970’s, Iran was also a popular destination for major regional and international sporting events such as the Asian Cup games for soccer. Therefore, there is no reason why future international sporting events could not also be held in a free Iran once sporting venues and stadiums are upgraded from their current neglected conditions.

ARCHEOLOGY YET TO BE EXPLORED

As many know, Iran is an ancient land with a history dating more than 2500 years ago. It has been conquered and re-conquered multiple times over the centuries. Yet in modern times, real extensive archeology has not taken place across the country to discover the nation’s ancient roots. While the ancient sites of Persepolis were excavated in the last century along, without a doubt more of Iran’s extensive ancient sites have not been dug up or examined properly. The criminal Ayatollah regime for nearly 50 years has done its best to suppress Iran’s ancient non-Islamic roots and even tried to erase the nation’s past history which had no ties to Islam. Therefore, the regime largely rejected or denied funding for any major domestic or foreign archeological projects. Yet there would be no reason why a future secular, democratic and nationalist government in Iran would not green-light archeological projects that explored Iran’s ancient roots in the country. Today more and more young Iranians are seeking to reconnect to their nation’s ancient past and have altogether rejected Islam due to the oppressive Islamic nature of the Ayatollah regime. These younger Iranians would without a doubt in the future welcome archeological projects that would shed light on their nation’s past origins and such information would be beneficial to all of humanity as well.

Again and again, when one explores the various aspects of why Iran without the Ayatollahs would be more beneficial to all of humanity, whether it be peace in the Middle East or future economic opportunities in the region, they all outweigh the negatives of why this evil regime should remain in power. The people of Iran, the Middle East and the world would without a doubt be better off without the current criminal Ayatollahs ruling a wealthy nation like Iran.
