Instead of the Eternal Jew’s Tale…

Today in our grief and outrage, in our determination to continue building a permanent home in Israel, our biblical birthright and our historical homeland, I am suspending publication of The Eternal Jew series for this week and perhaps next week, to devote full spiritual, psychological, and intellectual energy to support of Israel and to the task of intensifying our emotional and spiritual underpinnings.

I charge you: Be strong and resolute; do not be terrified or dismayed, for the ETERNAL your God is with you wherever you go.

Hatred is weak, be assured.
The teachers of hatred, the promoters of hatred, the agents of hatred pursue their hatred because they are afraid. They see their smallness, their insignificance, their futility, their immorality, and they are afraid. They know they dwell on quicksand.

A new era is emerging, be assured.
By Rosh Khodesh Kislev we will see the leadership of hatred destroyed. Haniyeh, al-Nakhalah, Deif, and their many lieutenants and lackeys will be dead or hiding in terror. The terrorists themselves will then have found the end-place of their terror.

A new era is emerging, be assured.
A new unity in Israel has awakened from its night of turmoil. We have learned, yet again, that baseless hatred destroys us from within. We are learning, yet again, that all hatred between Jews is baseless. A new commitment to unity is awakening.

A new era is emerging, be assured.
It is coming, though many still resist: there will be ONE law for the home-born and the stranger alike. Declared 23 times in Torah, and amplified in Viyekra 19:34 with “and you shall love him as yourself…”,  an Israeli-Palestinian unity is being born. You nay-sayers, when will you open your eyes? Many, maybe most Palestinian Israelis simply want to be treated as equal citizens. The outcast, welcomed as an equal and friend, will become among the stoutest pillars of the land. (Is that not true for us Jews in the U.S.?) And you leaders who wag the tail and spit invectives, you will soon be replaced by wiser souls.

A new era is emerging, be assured.
